Putting People Before Computers

A significant part of Neil's work is focused on promoting the appropriate use of technology - but this must always be balanced by the need to put people first. This long-standing principle resulted in Design Council recognition as an HCI/ergonomics consultant in 1989.

Involvement in planning new services and information system architectures
Defining user-centred performance criteria for outsourced or inhouse development work
Formative review of prototype systems
